Mark your calendars for Jan. 31, 2015.
The annual “Catholics@TheCapitol” special events, sponsored throughout the state by the Catholic Conference of Kentucky (CCK), are opportunities for citizens to interact with their regional Kentucky state representatives and senators who convene from Jan. 6-March 30 in Frankfort for 2015’s 30-day General Assembly.
In the Diocese of Covington the “Catholics@TheCapitol” is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Bishop Howard Memorial Auditorium in the diocesan Curia (across from the Cathedral in Covington). It is one of nine such meetings scheduled throughout the Commonwealth. Each event is a chance to learn about CCK’s legislative agenda, as determined by the four Catholic bishops in Kentucky, and to interact with local legislators, who are also invited to attend.
Cost: $20 per person (includes continental breakfast and lunch). Call to reserve a spot; you can also pay at the door.
