Day of Prayer and Penance for Life – January 22

On Jan. 22 Bishop Roger Foys has called for a Day of Prayer and Penance for Life throughout the Diocese of Covington. Each church is to be open for prayer and to schedule at least one hour of Eucharistic Adoration. Please call your parish or check  the Jan. 16, 2015 issue of the Messenger.

In addition, Bishop Foys encourages the faithful of the diocese to join together in prayer for a Holy Hour for Life, Jan. 22, at 7 p.m. Ten parishes through out the diocese have been designated: Cathedral Basilica (Covington), Blessed Sacrament Parish (Ft. Mitchell), Divine Mercy Parish (Bellevue), Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish (Burlington), St. Edward Parish (Cynthiana), St. John Parish (Carrollton), St. Mary Parish (Alexandria), St. Patrick Parish (Maysville), St. Patrick Parish (Taylor Mill), and St. Paul Parish (Florence).
